CSS Regenerative Farming

CSS partners with regenerative farmers to learn, cultivate, wonder, and connect. It is a place to follow our passion of celebrating the good earth with our families and sharing this passion with our community. We grow 100% organic produce and raise our animals in a sustainable/regenerative system that works with the rhythms of nature. Our mission is to connect people to the land beneath our feet, and create future Stewards for surrounding communities, whether on the other side of Backbone Ridge or the other side of the continent.

We partner with Agrarian Commons to provide farmland and regenerative agricultural education to young farmers. Our goal is to grow healthy food and providing access to under resourced areas. How can we work together to ensure an equitable food system? With your support we aim to provide young farmers with education in regenerative agricultural practices and farm management, including the emerging technology that will let their business thrive.

PRODUCE DISTRIBUTION PLAN:

With the addition of future members, Center for Sustainable Stewardship members will be able to pick up their weekly/monthly share at the Farm Store (5400 Big East Fork Rd) between the hours of 9-12.
- Non-members will be able to visit the Farm Store during these hours and purchase the amazing produce not set aside for members.
Each Monday and Thursday
-All harvested produce that was not sold at the Farm Store or picked up by members the previous Saturday will be sold and delivered (by a volunteer) to our chef partners.

We support other organizations to grow and distribute healthy, locally grown food in their localilties.

We provide safety, resources, support, and encouragement to those around us.

We contribute financial reserves, food to our food bank, or work in our community..

We provide and support education to the future stewards of our various overlapping communities.

We cultivate our own physical, mental, and spiritual health

We communicate with intention, to understand and uplift.

We treasure our creativity and give ourselves time and place in which to play.
