Activities for Children
Nerissa Aquino co-ordinates children’s activities at the Center for Sustainable Stewardship. Nerissa has a background in performing arts (dance), guiding outdoor adventures (hikes, camping, stand-up paddleboarding, shinrin-yoku), and assisting those coming with special needs, gifts, and a different culture (Peace Corps volunteer, numerous human services non-profit organizations).
She believes adults can benefit from re-wilding, play, and creative exploration through movement, so parents and caregivers are always encouraged to participate. She has raised her own little one, now a teenager, and continues to care for younger children as a babysitter for friends and family.
